Addition and Full-Renovation of this Dutch Colonial

Prior to the addition and full-renovation of this Dutch Colonial, the original home modestly enclosed less than one-third of its eventual size.  Because of the property’s location – within the historic district of Kensington, Maryland – and the owners admiration of the original home’s curb appeal, additions were designed for the side and rear, preserving the original front streetscape.  Moreover, many of the original historical details were replicated throughout the substantial addition.
