GTM Architects Senior Associate Tamara Gorodetzky is quoted in a July article for Modern Luxury magazine, "5 Landscape Design Projects We're Loving in the DMV." The article highlights a Washington, DC home project, which is designed to showcase views to the pool outside.
"The house has a pool bath off the mudroom so swimmers can come in with wet bathing suits and change right there," Gorodetzky says. "We considered it important to have framed views of the yard from many spaces. You can take it in through arched windows in the tub nook in the primary bath, and the exercise room at the attic level."
Outside, a small poolside cabana includes a cedar roof and fireplace for added comfort.
"Copper accents provide subtle refinement, while outdoor spaces were carefully designed to strengthen the home's connection to its landscape," she said.
