A Reimagined Workplace that Supports Brand Identity

KLNB, a leading commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region, sought to establish a new office location that would reflect the brand identity and workplace experience of their successful office in Tyson’s Corner. The goal was to create a cohesive extension of the KLNB brand while maximizing the value of an existing office environment through strategic reuse and thoughtful design.

The design team evaluated existing layouts, building systems, and lighting fixtures for opportunities to reuse and incorporate them where possible, reducing costs and minimizing waste. For the furniture scope, the design team worked with ReDistrict to evaluate existing furniture for reuse and identify opportunities to incorporate new systems furniture to support the workplace needs. These thoughtful decisions saved valuable resources, which were then redirected toward high-visibility design elements that reinforce the KLNB brand.

The reception area, a defining feature of the original office, was thoughtfully reconfigured to fit the new footprint while maintaining its visual impact and functionality. New workstations that are strategically organized within the center of the floor plan and dHive sliding glass office fronts create a workplace that is open, efficient, and collaborative.
