This building repositioning project includes the design of the 4th-floor amenity center at 5425 Wisconsin Ave in Chevy Chase, MD, into a dynamic and multifunctional space that merges modern amenities with a subtle, retro-inspired design. Featuring a golf simulator, arcade games, and flexible seating options, the space encourages relaxation and social interaction for building occupants. An operable glass partition allows the conference center to flow into the lounge, enhancing versatility. The ceiling, crafted from acoustic felt with a wood-look finish, effectively controls sound while adding warmth to the design. Building branding is incorporated with a prominent neon “Ascend” logo, reinforcing its unique identity. The design nods to classic country clubs with vibrant plaid patterns and wood paneling, creating a fun, nostalgic environment that elevates the overall tenant experience.
