The ownership at 45610 Woodland Avenue enlisted GTM Architects to reimagine the building’s conference center, addressing its previous limitations of being undersized, uninviting, and difficult to locate. Priorities included incorporating a new micro market and multi-functional spaces that could be used for various purposes, including but not limited to: formal conferences, casual meetings, focused individual work or relaxation.
GTM’s design concept embraces a clean, modern aesthetic punctuated with dark blue accents, creating a crisp, professional atmosphere that maintains visual interest. Black pendant light fixtures serve as striking contrasts against the white backdrop, adding depth and sophistication to the spaces.
Wood baffles introduce warmth and texture to the environment, softening the overall look and aiding in acoustic management. Classy wall coverings further enhance the upscale feel of the interiors, adding layers of texture and visual appeal.
A notable architectural feature is the curved glass wall, which serves as a focal point, introducing an organic, flowing element that contrasts with the otherwise clean, straight lines of the modern design. This feature adds a dynamic quality to the space, creating visual interest while defining the different functional areas.
The sleek and contemporary furniture selection aligns with the overall design aesthetic, complementing the color palette and reinforcing the sophisticated ambiance of the spaces. The project’s attention to built-in seating and integrated planters provides space efficiency and custom design elements that seamlessly blend with the architecture, creating a cohesive look while maximizing functionality across the various areas.
