This suburban contemporary styled split level home evokes a modern and deliberate appearance on the streetscape. The exterior palette of materials is a vocabulary of stone, glass, metal, wood and stucco. Deep cantilevered roof projections shading generous expanses of glass with field stone clad entry piers, draw one’s imagination inside. The generous use of glass window-wall openings floods the interior space with natural light.
Tying the split level interior plan together – with a vertical hall of expansive windows and daylight – is a wood and steel, precisely crafted, open stair. From the stair on the main floor level one has a sweeping view to each open concept room area beyond. An expansive family room was designed to extend seamlessly from the large kitchen dining area, to the rear yard pool terrace and covered porch.
White walls and warmly stained wide plank oak flooring were used to create a serene backdrop for the array of inventively contemporary built-in casework thorough out the home. Each private bath was designed with a unique selection of wall and floor tile décor.
