Inspired by the California ranch styled house, this contemporary custom home accommodates two stories of expansive living space within the shade of gracefully deep hip roof overhangs. Natural stone, wood and stucco weave their way harmoniously around the façade, with the occasional interruption of a two-story glass window wall feature. This double-height fenestration serves the open concept floor plan with an abundance of natural light in dramatic fashion.
The bright and open contemporary interior features a soaring double-height main living space and two-story glass wall, which is centered on the home’s swimming pool and spa. The main living area is punctuated with a ten-foot wide linear fireplace and hearth adjacent to an upper level “bridge” crossing this space and connecting the two sides of the second floor above.
