This 2,600 SF modern-industrial office space was designed to embody the client’s philosophy, “Developers of Value,” while fostering an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration, and productivity. The design takes cues from the building’s existing structure, exposing steel supports to acknowledge the client’s work and to give the space a modern/industrial feel. Adding a striking brick feature wall and incorporating custom barn-style doors crafted from reclaimed wood add to the aesthetic. These raw materials are softened with refined details, resulting in a workspace that is both authentic and polished.
The layout artfully balances centrally located collaboration areas with private workspaces, creating a flexible, multifunctional environment tailored to support a variety of work styles. Walnut hardwood floors and a warm, crisp color palette add a sense of comfort and sophistication, while drawing attention to the client’s art collection, which serves as a focal point throughout the office. Semi-custom lighting fixtures, designed in partnership with a lighting consultant, enhance the artwork and provide even, inviting illumination across the space.
Addressing the challenges of high ceilings and hard surfaces, thoughtful acoustic solutions were implemented to maintain sound privacy without sacrificing openness. The integration of zoned areas ensures functionality while retaining an inviting and cohesive flow. Key design elements, such as the mix of raw industrial features and warm, contemporary finishes, highlight the client’s desire for a dynamic yet welcoming environment.
The result is a showcase office though modest in size, brims with industrial charm and modern sophistication, delivering a well-lit, adaptable space that promotes collaboration, highlights creativity, and reflects the innovative ethos of the client’s brand.
